It’s so fun to watch little Enya, sorting all my scraps while I sew, it was never this calm in my living room, like yesterday afternoon/evening. She played happily for an hour there.
Fresh Start:
Big Pencil Pouch -– right now my kids put all there pencils in a big plastic box and this box is really close to breaking now, so I thought I give it a try and create a similar pouch like “quarter inch mark”, did in her tutorial – used some leftover strips from my pink solid quilt, and really like how it is coming together, just need to buy a zipper and finish it.
Ongoing:
Every Which Way (for Amelie using Lottie Da) –- finished the first 6 blocks, but then had to order much more of my Kona Snow, and hope it arrives till next week. I’m totally in love with my new pattern. Sorry for the bad pics, photographed them in the evening.
Starsurround QAL -– cushion top finished, need to sew it together
Friendshipstar Quilt -– nearly half of it already quilted

Every Which Way is looking so cute. And what a fun pencil bag for your children. You're starting your little quilter out early :)
AntwortenLöschenthank you, and yes my girls seem to be really addicted to fabric, my 5 year already tried to sew, so we will see how the next years will be, but they are always happy to pull my pins out and put them back in my pincushion while i chain piece *g*
LöschenLovely blocks! I love it when children play with fabric scraps, or when my nieces play with my hexagons. Quilt training in progress :) Best, Kate
AntwortenLöschenthank you Kate, and yes its always great to watch them
LöschenEnya looks so adorable! And your Every Which Way is turning out fantastic, love the colors!
AntwortenLöschenthank you Mara, Im also in love with the Lottie Da fabrics, they are so bright and happy colors, totally remind me of spring
LöschenFun pattern! I'm thinking four blocks would make a really nice mini-quilt. :) How big are they; eight inches?
AntwortenLöschenthank you Rachel, they are 12" one block, but I already thought to bring out a second pattern with smaller blocks for creating a cute mini out of it,
LöschenThe every which way quilt is looking great! Fun colors and lots of movement. I hope your Kona Snow comes quickly :)
AntwortenLöschenthank You Kels, I really hope too, most time it takes up to 3 weeks till fabric arrives here in my country, I really hate this
LöschenWhat a fantastic little helper you have there! :) You're quilt is coming along nicely!
