My next 1.5 weeks will be so stressful with all these wedding preparations, but Im sure to squeeze in some time for sewing. I just need it to relax and calm down. My friendshipstar quilt is already finished since two weeks, I just hadnt the time to photograph it yet.
Started:
Right now Im pattern testing a bag for Aylin. One day full of cutting and the second they was just sewing the bag together, not yet finished, coz i had to order a metal part for the handles. So this is on hold now until the weekend I think.
Ongoing:
Throw Bedquilt –- Last week I pulled the fabric stack I showed you and started with 4 blocks, but I really cant show you anything more than just this sneakpeek, coz I want to keep it a secret till I publish my next quilt pattern. But Im totally happy that my points are matching so well (which didnt in the testblock and freaked me nearly out), it just needs careful piecing. *g*
Hubbys Bedquilt –- I already started quilting on it, right now just stitch in the ditch around all the squares and retangles to secure the layers. Also started to make an outline around, I like it this way, but Daniel said he wants a bit more in between the lines, so we will see how many space is left than and maybe some swirls or loops between.
Every Which Way Pillow #2 –- still needs to attach binding by hand (will do this evening at my guild meeting)
Friendshipstar Quilt –- is finished (just need to photograph it)
Starsurround QAL –- cushion top finished, need to sew it together
Once Upon A Time Sampler -– started April block
Wedding Ring Cushion – handbinding left
Stats:
Completed projects – 0
New projects – 1
Currently in progress – 8
Total finishes – 14
