Modern Mini Quilt Challenge

I also wanted to participate in the modern mini quilt challenge over at Ellison Lane Quilts.
I want to submit a cushion, that I finished in april for my mom. It was the first time I tried something new, that was not half square triangles, and Im really happy with it.
Started with drawing this pattern on a sunny day outside in the garden.

Then the piecing fun started, took me a while to line it up perfectly.

And thats my finished version.
