I always sewed far too less things to be able to do a recap of all projects I have finished, but this year was so different. I sewed really a lot and finished a lot. Makes me proud of myself.
Resolutions for the new year:
use my stash: I did this before, my stash was quite small, but the last month shortly before my daughter was born, I started excessive fabric shopping and I got really addicted. Right now I have quite some bundles waiting for me. And I want to use them before I buy more, even if the upcoming lines are just so georgous.
sew more for me: yes thats a big problem, I tend to sew always gifts for others, instead for myself or for our home. My very own quilt, is on the hold since over 3 years now, meanwhile half quilted, but yet not finished. I really want to finish it, and snuggle under it. I want more cushions for our home and I want to finish my new started wedding quilt, till my wedding in may.
trying new things: I want to try out new sewing methods, like curves or paper piecing, still totally scared of both.
Now to 2013 recap (just did a grid for nearly all of them)
Wish you all a Happy New Year in 2014!
You have some beautiful finishes from the past year! That pink quilt is especially striking and beautiful. :) I can't wait to see what you make in 2014!
