Look who turned 5 month already. Such a big girl, time is flying and I really want to stop it. Such a happy little girl, who is always smiling and starts giggling and laughing now when here sisters make nonsense for her.
Fresh Start:
Once Upon A Time Sampler -– Started this a few weeks ago, but always forgot to take a picture, so here is my progress right now, stitching on it in the evening a bit when the kids are in bed.
Ongoing:
Big Pencil Pouch -– Did I ever mention that I hate zippers, I really do, it always takes me forever to put them in. But Im glad this pouch is finished, and Im now sure I will keep it for myself. Its really big and I can fit in all my sewing stuff. So I have to make another smaller one for the kids. *g*
Enya fell immediately in love with it, and wanted to keep it.
Every Which Way (for Amelie using Lottie Da) –-´still waiting for my Kona Snow, so on the hold
Starsurround QAL -– cushion top finished, need to sew it together
Friendshipstar Quilt -– nearly half of it already quilted
Whats planned: 2x Cushion for our home
1x Cushions for my mom

At least you've made a pouch! I'm still yet to attack that, and I have so many fabrics I want to turn into pouches. One day I'll be putting everything I own in a pouch! haha
AntwortenLöschenha yes I was totally scared for those puch zipper stuff the last month, but my girls were begging me so I thought i try it.
Löschenand what shall i say, its really not this hard lol, try it and its a fast project
I've only used a zipper once, for a cushion, but I haven't tried it again since! They are so intimidating, but your pouch came out great!
AntwortenLöschenoh yes the cushions, this was my first time too, and this damn zipper took me much longer than sewing and quilting the whole cushion lol, but this pouch is way easier
LöschenVery good embroidery, and lovely photos of your baby! thank you for sharing. You made the pouch very well.
AntwortenLöschenthank you Jacqui
LöschenCute pics with your girl. Your pouch looks lovely.

LöschenFairy tale is coming along lovely! Great pouch, it's such a nice shape
AntwortenLöschenthank you Wendy, the pouch is a bit big, so a smaller one is already in work
LöschenGreat job on your sampler stitching. Looks like a lot of work! Your pouch is lovely. The zipper turned out great and I love the quilting. It does look like you need to make at least two more pouches. This one seems to be claimed as a hat!
AntwortenLöschenoh yes she was crying so much when I told her its not hers lol, so I started a second one yesterday and halfway before finish she already knew that it was another pouch clever girl
LöschenEnya with the purse on her head is the cutest photo of the day. Precious. Your cross stitch is going to be so dear when you finish it. Please be sure to share a picture of it with all of us. genie
AntwortenLöschenthank you genie, of course i will share my progress on my stitch sampler, the pattern is so cute
LöschenGreat pouch, I still need to learn to sew in zippers. Great model!
AntwortenLöschenthank you Shari, my first time was horrible it took me longer than the whole cushion I sewed it in, but for this pouch, there was no ripping apart, nothing it worked like a charm, just try it
LöschenI feel the same way about zippers, but you did a lovely job with it. The pouch is adorable! (And so is the model ; )
AntwortenLöschenthank you Sarah

LöschenYou can't beat a beautiful baby with a quilt on her head! Good work on the pouch--they're one of my favourite things to make.
AntwortenLöschenthank you Margaret, took a look at your blog and wow your pouches look amazing inside and outside, Im impressed
LöschenYour pouch turned out well - I'm not a fan of sewing in zippers either, nor button holes. Your Once Upon A Time smiler will be lovely and a relaxing hand project when little ones are settled.
