WIP Wednesday – Once Upon A Time Sampler

Look who turned 5 month already. Such a big girl, time is flying and I really want to stop it. Such a happy little girl, who is always smiling and starts giggling and laughing now when here sisters make nonsense for her.

Fresh Start:
Once Upon A Time Sampler -– Started this a few weeks ago, but always forgot to take a picture, so here is my progress right now, stitching on it in the evening a bit when the kids are in bed.

Ongoing:
Big Pencil Pouch -– Did I ever mention that I hate zippers, I really do, it always takes me forever to put them in. But Im glad this pouch is finished, and Im now sure I will keep it for myself. Its really big and I can fit in all my sewing stuff. So I have to make another smaller one for the kids. *g*

Enya fell immediately in love with it, and wanted to keep it.

  1. At least you've made a pouch! I'm still yet to attack that, and I have so many fabrics I want to turn into pouches. One day I'll be putting everything I own in a pouch! haha

  2. I've only used a zipper once, for a cushion, but I haven't tried it again since! They are so intimidating, but your pouch came out great!

  6. Great job on your sampler stitching. Looks like a lot of work! Your pouch is lovely. The zipper turned out great and I love the quilting. It does look like you need to make at least two more pouches. This one seems to be claimed as a hat!

  12. Your pouch turned out well - I'm not a fan of sewing in zippers either, nor button holes. Your Once Upon A Time smiler will be lovely and a relaxing hand project when little ones are settled.
Thank you for your input re my hexie quilt plans, I really appreciate it.
